The first free brewer in Tirol was Ludwig Jobst, an ancestor to the present brewerfamily. He became brewing rights in 1678.

In the sixties brewed Zillertal the first Pils in Austria. In the eighties the first Radler and the first „Schwarze“.

Brewing of a weissbeer began in 2006.



Zillertal Märzen are stored 8 weeks at 1 Grad Celsius.
