The special kwak glass is made for mail coaches, who was not allowed to leave their coaches and horses in order to fullfill their thirst. As a result the inventive innkeeper Pauwel Kwak had a special glass blowen that could be hung on the coach.

Tripel Karmeliet
Three grai are used in the beer: Wheat, barley and oat. It is brewed from a original recipe from 1679 found in the Carmelite Monastery in Dendermonde.
